今天早上收到的邮件通知，McAfee已经撤下了Patch 5以及集成版。有报告说Patch 5内含有一个严重bug，已经导致部分服务器系统蓝屏。虽然没有报告指出对普通电脑造成影响，但McAfee不排除普通电脑受影响的可能性。

McAfee会在7月18日左右发布一个Hotfix来解决这个问题，在此之前，如果已经发生蓝屏，请尽快卸载Patch 5。这个Bug修复以后，Patch 5应该会重新发布。

Due to the severity of this issue, McAfee has removed VSE 8.7 Patch 5 from our download servers for additional testing. This article will be updated when Patch 5 is reposted.
For customers with Patch 5 already installed
McAfee Engineering is developing a hotfix to resolve the issue. This hotfix is expected to be available through McAfee Support after July 18. This article will be updated when additional release information is available.
If you encounter this issue on any systems, contact McAfee Technical Support and reference this article number to have a case created and escalated.

Non-US customers - select your country from the list of Worldwide Offices

Alternatively:
Log in to the ServicePortal at https://mysupport.mcafee.com:
If you are a registered user, type your User Id and Password and click OK.
If you are not a registered user, click New User and complete the required fields. Your password and login instructions will be emailed to you.
Solution 2
For customers who have not yet installed Patch 5

The patch 5 package has been removed from the McAfee Downloads site and ServicePortal for additional testing. The package will be reposted when this issue is resolved.

This article will be updated when Patch 5 is again available for download.

8.7i Patch 5 是4月发布的，现在7月份才发现“导致电脑蓝屏”？？

如果没有发现问题应该还不要紧~~如果是超级紧急的问题应该会马上发hotfix才对
