Test new AVG products and win an iPod Nano watch or other great prizes.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Beta version of AVG 2013 is now available for testing. As participants of previous beta tests, we would like to invite you to join testing of this new version. Your invaluable feedback will be used to make pre-release improvements and allow us to provide a better service for you.

The most active members of the Beta Program will be able to win an iPod Nano with wristband or Amazon vouchers!

How to join:

  1. Login to your account at beta.avg.com (your e-mail address is your login, if you lost your password, recovery option is available at the login page)
  2. Select the AVG 2013 Beta project and click "Join Now" to start your experience with AVG 2013
  3. Installation packages are available in the Downloads section and we also recommend uninstalling any previous version of AVG or any other security software
  4. Report any problems and software bugs through the Bug reports section. We would appreciate if you spend some time responding to the feedback form and test protocols. For discussions or general questions about the new version, please use the public Beta forum.

改进组件，降低资源占用，修复BUG,兼容Win 8, 换皮~

注：建议先卸载2012版本，暂无中文，IPV6 下无法升级，安全模式下扫描无法运行，控制面板中change （更改组件？）无效

* AVG 2013 is fully compatible with Windows 8.

FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
====================
* Anti-Rootkit: Improved reporting of corrupted sections.
* Anti-Spam: Improved configuration of all Anti-Spam components.
* General: Alert Manager component has been removed.
* General: Update selection dialog has been removed.
* General: System Tools component has been removed.
* Setup: Driver installation logging has been extended to provide enhanced information.
* Setup: Search Shield component will not be installed by default, but only after having been selected for installation.

The current version has a few limitations and known bugs. We are aware of them and plan to fix them in the next build(s). But it's good to know these before you submit a new bug. Here's the list:

- It's better to uninstall previous installation of AVG 2012 before installing AVG 2013. Some of the reinstallation procedures are still 'buggy' and we're fixing them in the next build.
- Localization of the product isn't finished. The only final version is English at this point. Same goes for Help files. (Product installer is English only at this point!)
- Update doesn't work if you use IPv6.
- Firewall logs are sometimes not displayed in the user interface (are empty).
- Scan does not work in the Safe mode.
- AVG Accelerator may not fully work in Google Chrome (video acceleration might not be working properly).
- AVG diag (tool for diagnostics) may crash, when sending data is complete. However this is know to be under very obscure circumstances.
- "Change" option in the Windows' Control Panel does not work.
