Comments on our product from Forrester:

Sophos delivers the most enterprise-friendly SaaS endpoint security suite. Sophos offers a tightly integrated suite of endpoint security capabilities, with a good balance of advanced threat prevention, detection, and automatic remediation. Buyers will appreciate its intuitive administrative interface along with the flexibility and scalability required for most enterprise deployments, both large and small. Sophos is also one of the few endpoint security suite vendors in this Forrester. Wave to offer a full-featured suite either on-premises or through a SaaS-based service. However,the solution’s lack of patch management and flexible application default-deny whitelisting options for employee devices may be an issue for some enterprise buyers. Overall, customers report a high level of satisfaction with the product’s effectiveness, with minimal detriment to endpoint user experience. In a field crowded with both new and legacy endpoint
security technologies, Sophos’ road map to develop strong signatureless prevention and detection capabilities (including the new Intercept X product, released after the Forrester Wave cutoff date but prior to publication) should make the product highly competitive over the long term. We also would like to highlight few points that may differ from the results in 3rd Party tests.

1)       AV-Comparatives do not test Intercept X: only Endpoint Protection Advanced for Windows is included in this report

2)       AV-Comparatives testing methodology does not accurately reflect real world scenarios.

3)       AV-Comparatives testing often focuses on apps and potentially unwanted apps seen in the consumer space, not reflective of Sophos Endpoint Protection customer environments.

4)       The testing methodology used does not invoke all of the protection capabilities of Endpoint Protection Advanced

5)       We continue to work with AV-Comparatives and wish to help them improve their testing methodology to better match real-world scenarios, thus providing more valuable to customer

或者大可以像其它家一样主动退出此类测试而专心做产品。

目前Windows 10一台电脑正在使用Sophos Home, 搭配Comodo防火墙，感觉挺好，总比用自带的Defender强。PCMag年度最佳免费AV里评分给了4分。最高分的4.5给了Avast、AVG 和 Panda，因为不喜欢广告不想用Avast和AVG，Panda之前没卸载干净导致wifi总是掉线所以不喜欢这家。Bitdefender也是4分，引擎厉害，但是界面太过简单没法设置，最坑爹的是扫描到一半不给停，不让加exceptions。还告诉你免费版木有防ransomware的组件

Sophos Home最好的一点就是给你感觉你不在使用免费产品，无广告无弹窗，名字里也没有Free，防毒的该有就有，Anti-Malware+HIPS作为主防够用了。最不好的就是界面太简单字体偏小，要改设置或添加exceptions要打开网页去云端改。但客服真心好，去他们家网页马上就有客服过来问要不要帮忙，跟他说要家庭版antivirus马上就给了个link直接带我到下载页。下载个免费软件英国佬态度还这么好，有点小感动。更新也快，感觉至少也是商业防毒的老牌了，应该靠谱。

知道这里的大佬们不屑免费版AV，但本人不喜欢破解防毒软件，总感觉有安全隐患。准备等Sophos出问题了再换回付费版的趋势科技。

至于这个AV-Comparatives 最近也研究过，记得real-world protection test 里 Bitdefender 排第一名，而且误杀率排很低，结果装了之后还是误杀了我好多文件和进程。。。Sophos的确算是垫底，但目前虽然Sophos也误杀了一些文件感觉误杀率跟第一名差不多。detection rate 也比想象中要好些。所以这种测试排名我随便看看，用过了自己喜欢最重要。

home版的hips哪里设置啊

home几乎没有什么能够设置的，需要设置需要登陆的网页里面设置。没有专门的hip选项。

相当赞同，虽说不能迷信这类评测，但也是有很大的参考意义的，他这是感觉越描越黑。
