Instructions:
1. If you already use an Avira product, it doesn't matter if you have Avira Free Antivirus (old name for Version 10 = Avira AntiVir Personal), Avira Antivirus Premium 2012 (old name for Version 10 = Avira AntiVir Premium), or Internet Security (old name for version 10 = Avira Premium Security Suite), but you need to have version 10 or version 2012 (only in German and English at the moment).
Open the "Avira AntiVir Control Center" on your existing (already installed) Avira product by double-clicking on the red umbrella icon. Please click on help -> license management, enter your activation key at "Activate Product", and then click on "Next". The upgrade process will begin and all you have to do is follow the instructions on your screen.

Please note: If you follow this procedure, the remaining runtime of your current product will be automatically added to the new 18-month runtime. The key will be activated once you insert it in the product. It works for 1 PC only! Please activate the key within the next 12 months because it will be invalid after that. All product updates and upgrades are included during run time.
2. If you are NOT using any Avira antivirus software at the moment, please click on the link of your preferred language, download the product, and follow the instructions. Once you are asked, enter the key above.
