SC Awards 2007 (U.S.)
| Voting in the industry's highly acclaimed SC Awards is now open to qualified business users in the US (European voters may vote from 18th October), who are being asked to vote for their favorite and best performing security product - avast!® antivirus won last year in both the US and European categories for best antivirus product, and the whole anti-malware category in Europe.
avast!® antivirus are now asking their loyal customers to show their support again by voting for them in the 2007 event. Voting should be made with the following in mind: functionality, manageability, ease-of-use, scalability of the product, as well as the customer service and technical support provided.
In a change to previous years, voting in the SC Magazine (U.S.) Awards is now strictly for business users of information security products and services in North America. New voting techniques are in places to help to stop home users from voting, and voters will be required to answer a series of questions to verify that they are professional users. Please see the SC Awards website for details on voting. One of the most important changes is that votes received from non-business email accounts (msn,yahoo,hotmail, gmail etc.) will now be regarded as invalid.
