Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 displays the error messages "Impossible to verify the database license agreement" and "Update, task failure. Error code 85DC0034". What should I do?

Applies to Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012

With Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 running the following error message may appear in the main program window "License: problem detected" and "Databases: corrupted" and in the Manage License window the following error message appears Impossible to verify the database license agreement.

In order to eliminate the situation, perform the following actions:

Disable self-defense of Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012.

Exit the product:
      In the bottom right corner of the screen right-click the Kaspersky icon.
      In the context menu select Exit.

Enable display of hidden files and folders.

Find and delete the following folder:

For users of Windows XP:
      C:\Documents and settings\All Users\Application data\Kaspersky lab\avp12\bases\klava
For users of Windows Vista/7:
      С:\Program Data\Kaspersky Lab\avp12\bases\klava

After you have dleted the folder, restart the program (Start —> (All) Programs —> Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 —> Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012).

Update Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 databases twice.
