Job Description
The Head of Testing Department at Kaspersky Lab China is the person in charge of organizational, infrastructure- and staff-related tasks, drafting of suggestions for Testing Department budget. The position implies a combination of management and technical skills. The person is responsible for general administration of all activities performed by Testing Department employees, functioning of Testing Department, efficient and timely performance of the tasks set for the branch ensuring due quality.
General requirements
1. Education - higher.
2. Foreign language - English (fluent).
3. Experience - at least 2 years of work as a head of a technical department with at least 15 employees.
Management skills
1. Personnel management. Ability to identify and solve the problems pertaining to personal relations within a team.
2. Ability to organize the work of a technical department related to interaction with other departments and branches of the Company.
3. Project management skills. Experience of planning, plan implementation control and activity organization.
4. Experience of drafting and monitoring of a technical department budget.
5. Ability to carry out negotiations and presentations.
Professional skills
1. Knowledge of modern computing and network equipment.
2. Skills necessary for preparation and conclusion of contracts for purchase of computing equipment and software.
3. Knowledge of software development and testing methods (appropriate skills are appreciated).
4. General understanding of the methods and ways used for data protection and prevention of IT threats.

Software Testing Engineer shall implement tasks related to preparing and running all types of testing within the framework of the assigned scope in software development projects of Kaspersky Lab or within Testing Department. Software Testing Engineer is responsible for implementation of tasks assigned to him or her ensuring timely completion and high quality.
General requirements
1. Education level - higher education or last year university student.
2. Knowledge of foreign languages - English (intermediate level).
3. Work experience - as a software test engineer or a system administrator - preferable.
4. Attention to details, thoroughness, patience- mandatory.
Professional requirements
1. Good knowledge of Windows platforms (Windows 95/98/Me, Windows NT, Win2K, XP, Win2003) - mandatory.
2. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows NT4, 2000, 2003 domain administration - mandatory.
3. Programming experience of using C/C++, VB or Delphi and scripting languages VBScript, JScript, Perl, etc - mandatory.
4. Experience in application testing (manual and using testing automation tools - Rational Test Suite, MercuryWinRunner, QuickTest, Segue SilkTest, etc) - preferable.
5. Experience in testing automation using corresponding programming languages (SQA Basic, VBScript, JScript, Perl, etc.) - preferable.
