Hi,
We are going to release ISTP version 59 today to all our users.
This is a bug fix release to our common components as well as Computer Security. No changes will be made for Online Safety, it will remain on the ISTP 58 level.
As usual, upgrade will require a reboot before it is functional.
Some important notes about this release:
* Some users have reported about their computer crashing after ISTP 58, typically with the Windows' Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) message.
Unfortunately ISTP 58 contained bugs which caused these BSODs, and while we have been able to fix some of those in this ISTP 59 release, some still exist in the product. If you encounter a BSOD after ISTP 59 release, please report it to us as soon as possible and include the Support Tool report with it.
* We notified you last week about an issue where our installer placed certain files in the root directory of the C: drive.
This problem is now fixed for the new installations, but it is still valid for upgrades. Those files can also be in the D: drive root directory. This will be fixed in the ISTP 60 release in approximately two weeks. Until that, please do not touch those files.
