今天刚刚收到的赛门铁克测试邀请，测试的产品很奇怪，竟然是赛门铁克保护引擎7.0（Symantec Protection Engine 7.0），可好像现在的引擎就是这个版本，不知道这会不会是传说中的赛门铁克新的云引擎，大家拭目以待吧。

Symantec Protection Engine (SPE) allows almost ANY application or operating system the ability to scan files for threats.
Symantec Protection Engine for NAS provides on-demand file protection for enterprise storage.

Through this SymBeta site, you have direct access to many Symantec employees. Members of our engineering team, support teams, and product team leaders will be monitoring the forum to provide help and assistance where needed as well as answer general product questions.

Quality is our number one goal and we would like your help to ensure SPE 7.0 is as high a quality release as possible.
As you run through the product, continually providing your feedback and incident reports to SymBeta helps us to achieve this goal.

We'll have a number of awards and prizes to give out for those providing the most valuable feedback, including a special "Bug Hunter" award for the participant reporting the most problems :) as well as the "Eagle Eye" award for the participant who provides the most feedback for the help and documentation.

Lastly, those of you who participate in this beta may qualify for a new initiative, Symantec Protection Engine - First Availability Program.  More information on this initiative will follow over the coming weeks.
