New: Version 8 of the Avira AntiVir Server Windows

In December 2007 Version 8 of Avira AntiVir Server Windows will be available. It will include a whole series of new features! With the new server generation protection you will have a broader scope of options and a higher security level at your disposal. In addition to the new features the new version will support Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and enables product updates to be made independently from updating the engine and the virus definitions.

Important: Avira AntiVir Server does not support cascading updates in Version 8 when distributed in multiple levels. Instead, your customers can use the free Avira Internet Update Manager or the Avira Mirror Script to provide this functionality. Both tools will be available on the Avira website for download.
