ESET Launches ESET NOD32 Antivirus 7 and ESET Smart Security 7 BETA Versions

The new products proud with the low system footprint capabilities ESET is known for, but now offer users even greater protection from new and yet undiscovered malware with core product technology improvements. ESET Advanced Memory Scanner in V7 BETA stops heavily-encrypted threats designed to evade detection. Overall improved cleaning helps users remove complex rootkits which were previously cleanable only via dedicated cleaning tools.

The core technology improvements:
ESET NOD32® Antivirus and ESET Smart Security® add advanced levels of protection against threats thanks to three core technology improvements in detection and cleaning. Two of the enhancements are available in the BETA version, with the third advanced functionality will follow later:
ESET Advanced Memory Scanner* stops heavily-encrypted threats designed to avoid detection. With improved capabilities to analyze decrypted, “stripped” files directly in memory, the software can effectively prevent new and unknown malware attacks.

* Additional interpretation for this function:

Advanced memory scanner scans applications when their state is changed, looking for what could be suspicious/malware-like behavior. It it is optimized so that only modified parts are scanned. When suspicious action is detected HIPS will block particular bad operation and normal cleaning procedure should be run to repair any damage done by malicious processes.

1. 默认状态下，新版本中右键集成菜单由原来的“首选扫描”变成了“首选清除”。
2. 增加了首次优化扫描。
3. 取消了 Web 保护中的“主动模式”功能。
