Welcome to the Norton 21.0 project - codenamed: Blackjack!

Testing is beginning now and is expected to last until early-September.

You can download the ET3 build of Blackjack. in the Product Builds / Activation Key section inside the Blackjack project on our Enhanced Testing site - http://et.symantec.com.

Report defects or issues you encounter using the Report An Incident link inside the Blackjack project. You can also suggest new features or new improvements by using the Make A Suggestion link inside the Blackjack project.

Be sure to read the Task List Guide, which can help aid you in testing.

This build is a pre-beta Alpha build. Because this software is in such an early stage in development, it is bound to have issues. You will need to make a complete backup of your Test Computer prior to installing Blackjack. We will ask you to revert to this backup before installing later ET builds. We have provided Norton Ghost to help aid you in this. It is available in the Testing Tools section of the Blackjack Project.

Here is the complete list of supported Operating Systems for Blackjack:

Windows XP 32-bit (SP2 and above)
Windows Vista 32-bit (SP1 and above)
Windows Vista 64-bit(SP1 and above)
Windows 7 32-bit
Windows 7 64-bit
Windows 8 32-bit
Windows 8 64-bit

If you need to reset your password, you can do so by navigating to http://et.symantec.com/password, entering you username in the "username" field, and then answering your secret question.

Do not report any of the issues noted on the below Known Issues list. We will have these fixed prior to final release.

Virus Definitions
Full (non-streaming) definitions may not update as frequently on the pre-release product. You will continue to get streaming updates, but eventually the “Definition Update” time may show a few days (even after updating Streaming Definitions). Do not use the Intelligent Updater (from the Security Response site) to manually update the definitions, as they’re not compatible with 21.0 and will cause issues.

“Identity Safe Online” link in Identity Pillar in Norton 360 doesn’t work.
