BetaCenter News: Usability improvements, new bug tracking and feedback community

as you may have noticed, we launched a short survey regarding our BetaCenter some weeks ago. We received a lot of valuable feedback from your side and analyzed the results. These results gave us specific insights into what we can do, to improve your Avira beta experience.
         
       
       
         

We already made some changes to the BetaCenter like removing the “Daily Journal” feature from the projects, which helps to make the overall design more clear.
         
                     
       

A huge demand from you, was to improve response times in bug reports. We already went into action regarding this, which is explained below.
We are also planning to improve our testing guidelines and testing tasks inside specific beta test projects. As you see, we are taking your feedback seriously and are willing to improve your appreciated beta testing!

New bug tracking system

As you were asking for faster response times we overlooked our current process and switched to another bug tracking system which makes it easier to handle all the feedback we’re getting across the different beta projects. For you as a tester there are only minor changes. You can still open bug reports using our feedback forms within each project but you have now also the possibility to simply write an email to betacenter@avira.com. From there, any further communication will be handled via Email.

Avira Feedback Community

We are introducing the new Avira Feedback Community which allows users to post their ideas and suggestions on how to make our product better. Your ideas and your needs are leading to a customer satisfying product - Avira.

You can share your thoughts, suggestions and ideas via this community. You can even support other users with their ideas by voting for them!

As you know we collected your suggestion via the Avira BetaCenter. After switching to a more professional way to handle your precious feedback (IdeaScale) we migrated your suggestions from the BetaCenter to our new platform.

Of course we removed your email addresses and any personal data. But if you got any doubts about it and do not want us to make your suggestion available to other users for upvoting, then write an email to betacenter@avira.com with the feedback ID and we will remove it immediately from the Feedback Community.

其實就是beta center的測試計劃改善通告
1.合併bug report與suggestion合併
2.刪除beta center內的daily task
3.增加avira beta community
改善與各測試人員及avira用戶的溝通,
令大家互相可以有更多互動及更方便提出實用的建議
以便為未來的產品或開發作參考或採用
那邊會有6位Avira官方人員負責回覆並審閱我們的建議
