Avira Free Antivirus for Mac 3.0.5 is now available for testing

please note Avira Free Antivirus for Mac version 3.0.5 is now available for beta testing at the Avira Beta Center. Existing installations will receive this update automatically.

New beta build: 3.0.5.7

Extracted from the changelog these are the latest changes:

    Internal tweaks to increase the overall product performance when working in conjunction with iCloud
    After doing an update we will now show a message in the Apple Notification Center. This message will be shown max once a day

Bugfixes

    The finder displayed a wrong version number on our product. We will now show the correct version number.
    When you receive an update and the UI is open, the product will no longer request an UI restart unless it is needed
    For a very short timeframe we displayed a wrong state on the toggle buttons in the UI (i.e. Scheduler, Protection Page)
    If you scrolled down a long list on the scheduler or quarantine page, the text in the header was not centered properly


Please file a bug report as soon as unexpected behavior or a crash of any component occurs.
