Bitdefender is constantly improving its solutions to offer better protection, performance and usability. The next update of the Amazon EC2 integration in Bitdefender GravityZone cloud-hosted console, planned for July 7th, is bringing several developments that will significantly enhance your experience.
Please find below a list of the new features available after the Control Center update:
• The Amazon EC2 integration is now available for:
• Customers who purchased Small Office Security (cloud-based) or Security for Endpoints (cloud-based) directly from Bitdefender and upgraded to GravityZone.
• Direct Bitdefender Partners registered in Partner Advantage Network (PAN) and their customer network.
Note:
◦ The direct Bitdefender Partner must have the right to resell AWS assigned in its PAN account. For more details, please contact your Bitdefender GravityZone provider.
◦The direct Bitdefender Partner needs to log in to Control Center from PAN to activate the service. After taking this action, his entire reseller and customer network will view the Amazon EC2 integration in their GravityZone accounts.
◦The Amazon EC2 integration option can be accessed by pointing to the username in the upper-right corner of the console and selecting Integrations.
• Added billing support in PAN for Partners reselling Bitdefender Security for Amazon Web Services.
• Added subscription notifications and alerts for Partners and their customer network.
• The events related to the Amazon EC2 integration are now available in the User Activity logs.
• Remote deployment using a private key (.pem) is now available on Linux systems.
• Added support for customers with Amazon EC2 integration to change the Bitdefender Partner. This can be done from My Company window in Control Center.
Administrator guide and Partner's guide will also be updated on July 7th.
For end-customers and indirect partners, there is no user action required. The web console at https://gravityzone.bitdefender.com/ will be unavailable during the short upgrading process. Endpoint protection will not be affected in any way during this interval.
To benefit from all these new features, as an existing customer you don't need to take any actions, the console will be updated automatically. Any new customer will benefit from the new features.
