EAP类似于过去的BETA，也类似于其他家的预发行版本，以后有新功能直接EAP发布。

How do you become an Early Adopter?
If you'd like to be part of the Norton Early Adopter Program (EAP), it's simple! Click HERE (link is external) to download the EAP Tool, read the instructions, and become part of the test. Below are detailed instructions on getting started.
Before you begin, make sure that ALL of the below apply to you:
- Operating system language - English
- Product - Norton Security / Norton Security with Backup
- Product Version - 22.8.0.50
- OS Country - United States of America
- Product State - Activated (Not Expired)
- Product is registered with a Norton Account
- OS Version – Windows 7 or greater
1) Place the EAP tool on your Desktop and run the tool. You will see the following message:
 2) Open the Norton Product Main User Interface
3) Click Settings -> Administrative Settings
You will see Norton Early Adopter Program option. Click Join:
4) A description screen and a License Agreement screen will appear. Click Join and Agree:
5) Enter your Norton Account password and click Sign In:
6) You're now enrolled! Click Close:
7) In Main User Interface, Click Help -> Select About. The LiveUpdate Channel will be changed to EAP:
8) Once you've confirmed your LiveUpdate Channel has been changed to "EAP", run LiveUpdate manually from the main product screen to receive the new version.
 Now you're part of EAP!

 What does it do?
Use this feature to quickly find, modify, and learn about settings within the product without having to browse through all the various settings screens to find something.
How do I turn it on?
You can access it by the magnifying glass icon here:
In addition you can configure your own "hotkey" in the settings area to launch it quickly whenever you like.
How can we make it better?
Any ideas how to make this easier, better looking, or more intuitive? One reason we are excited about this feature is the telemetry that it will provide in terms of what items customers are actually searching for. This can help us optimize the results and learn more about our customers and what words they think of and use the most.
