Offline Activation
To activate your license on a computer without Internet connection, please follow the steps described below.

Step 1: Determine the version number of Sandboxie.
Use the command Sandboxie Control > Help menu > About Sandboxie.
Alternatively, enter the following command into a command prompt window:
"C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\License.exe" print version
IMPORTANT: Beta versions of Sandboxie are usually numbered with two decimal digits, for example 3.47.01. For activation, use the first four characters, for example, 3.47.
Step 2: Determine your system code.
Enter the following command into a command prompt window:
"C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\License.exe" print syscode
The system code is 16 characters long.
Step 3: Visit the Offline Activation web page:
http://www.sandboxie.com/license/activate-offline.php
Enter your Product Key, System Code and Sandboxie Version into the web page form. Click the Get Activation Key button to calculate your 400-character activation key.
Step 4: Transfer the activation key to the computer without Internet connection.
Step 5: Use the activation key to activate Sandboxie on the computer without Internet connection:
Enter the following command into a command prompt window:
"C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\License.exe" activate paste_your_activation_key_here
Simply paste the 400-character activation key to the right of the word activate.
If you entered a valid activation key, the Sandboxie License Manager will display the number of days remaining until the expiration of this activation key.
On the other hand, if the activation cannot be accepted, the Sandboxie License Manager will display a detail number which indicates the cause of the problem. See the table below.
Detail Number Explanation
FFFF0091 The activation key is used beyond the expiration date built into it. It cannot be used to activate the license in Sandboxie.
To fix this problem, visit the Offline Activation web page again and issue a new activation key.
FFFF0092 The version number built into the activation key does not match the version of Sandboxie running on the computer in which Sandboxie is being activated.
To fix this problem, visit the Offline Activation web page again and enter the correct System Code.
FFFF0093 The System Code built into the activation key does not match the System Code calculate for the computer in which Sandboxie is being activated.
To fix this problem, visit the Offline Activation web page again and enter the correct System Code.
FFFF0012, FFFF0013 The key provided is not recognized as a valid activation key.
Make sure the activation key was copied correctly from the web form. |
