please note that the a new build of update 25 for Avira Antivirus for Windows is now available for beta testing for german and english at the Avira Beta Center. Existing installations will receive this update automatically. For a new installation get your installation packages here.

New shell extension scanner now writes windows events
New shell extension scanner now writes events into the Avira events database
Bugfixes

WAV-01641 Avira Guard cause unresponsible system due to guard keeping reinitlization
avgnt.exe error about missing DLLs after reinstalling without reboot
New shell extension scanner: Scan GUI is crashing if started more than ±13 scans
New shell extension scanner: Counting archives scanned is not correct in case of excluded from archive-types-to-scan-list
Wrong last update info shown on AVCenter status page if no successful update possible after installation
