New Beta version 18.1.2323(January 12, 2018)

Hi everyone,

new beta version 18.1.2323 (build 18.1.3769.0) is released.

Changes

It is possible to add more files into virus chest at once (you're welcome AliKhan )
Improved dump creation when our process crashes
Better handling of multiple opened Avast windows
Added support for fallback download server (using HTTPS) in setup in case standard servers don't work
Warning is displayed when logging off from windows during installation (so installation is finished properly)
Optimized scanning of downloaded executable files

Bug fixes

Fixed scanning of files in Virus Chest
Fixed wrong text in Recycle Bin context menu
Avast UI crashes fixed
Avast Clear now works properly on Win XP

Known issues

Email protection is not enabled sometimes after installation on XP until restart
Several detection dialogues might be displayed for one downloaded and detected threat in case of .exe or .msi files

here I would like to explain how the beta program works.

How to participate in the beta program?
1. Download the beta installers:

2. After installation you will see "BETA" sign next to the product name in GUI - this indicates that you are on the beta channel

3. On beta channel we release new versions more frequently (usually once a week) and they are being delivered automatically, that means that Avast should be always running on the latest version (you can turn this off via Settings->Update->Program

4. If you find any bug or issue, please report it either via the feedback from directly in Avast, or make a new thread in this forum section.

5. If you with to switch back to the stable channel, then please uninstall the Avast beta version, restart PC and install the latest stable version from the links below:

已知问题
有时在XP上安装之后，电子邮件保护功能才会启用，直到重新启动
在exe或.msi文件的情况下，可能会显示一个已下载和检测到的威胁的多个检测对话框
