Which Avira business products will be discontinued?
The following products will no longer be supported beyond December 31, 2021 (information also available via this link):
Avira Antivirus Pro Business Edition
Avira Antivirus for Server
Avira Antivirus for Endpoint
Avira Antivirus for Small Business
Avira Exchange Security
What will happen to our partnership?
Many businesses have turned to Avira Prime for their employee protection. Avira Prime offers a complete portfolio of protection layers combining antivirus protection, secure browsing, software updates and more. We would be happy to continue our partnership through these solutions.
Can customers still purchase the above products today?
Yes. Customers can purchase licenses for the above business products with a 1-year subscription, however these licenses must be activated by December 31, 2020.
Until when can partners still order Avira products?
Licenses can be purchased from PartnerNet and the Channel Partner Team until November 30, 2020. The subscription of a new licenses or renewal is limited to 1 year and must be activated before December 31, 2020.
Can existing licenses still be renewed?
Existing licenses with an expiry date of up to December 31, 2020, can be renewed via PartnerNet until November 30, 2020, subject to the above conditions.
What will happen to licenses whose runtime extends beyond December 31, 2021?
Licenses for the above products will no longer be supported after December 31, 2021.
