This article explains how you can manually update the antivirus databases of F-Secure products on Windows platforms.

Note: This article assumes deep technical understanding of both F-Secure products and the relevant operating system. If you are unsure, contact F-Secure support for assistance.

To update the antivirus databases manually:

Download the fsdbupdate9.exe file from our download server. The file integrity checksum for the latest fsdbupdate is listed in the fsdbupdate9.txt file.
Execute the fsdbupdate utility program with all databases (Antivirus, Spyware, Spam, Parental, etc.).
