Avira supports Vista Service Pack 1

Tettnang, 18 March 2008 – Microsoft has big plans for Vista and has announced the release of Service Pack 1. It is intended to make the operating system safer and more reliable. Avira will support the Vista SP1 update from 2 April!

Users of Windows Vista will automatically receive the Vista Service Pack 1 via download from 18 April 2008. Microsoft customers will benefit from additional security, a range of new functions, extended hardware compatibility and higher performance  – and less power consumption.

As a “Microsoft Gold Certified Partner”, Avira will support the new Vista update on the release date! On the 2 April, an automatic update to existing customers of the award winning anti-virus software, made in Germany, will be available. Vista users who use Avira will be protected at all times against the dangers of the Internet.
