                          Performance comparison, 8.0 vs 7.0 and competitive products


Hi all,

KAV 8.0 development team is working on optimization of product's performance in different areas. Our internal tests show very good progress on build 320. We would like to ask you to make such performance tests on your our computers in order to get more information for analysis. We suggest to use simple test cases like the following:

1) scan of clean file collection (it should be big enough to get representative results)

2) copying of clean file collection

3) OS boot time

4) application startup time (use utils like AppliTimer and PassMark AppTimer from http://www.benchmarkhq.ru/russian.html?/b_misc.html)

5) installation time for big applications, like MS Office 2007.


For all mentioned tests we need results from 3-4 runs. We usually use 2 numbers: time of the first run + average time for all the next runs

Also it will be helpful for us to get separate results for XP SP2/3 and Vista.

We'll be glad to see your comments and opinion about KAV 8.0 performance in any case.

3.系统启动时间

4.应用程序启动时间（可以使用AppliTimer and PassMark AppTimer 工具来测试）

5.大型程序的安装时间（例如MS Office 2007）

所有提到的测试我们都需要你运行3-4次的结果，我们会选取两个数据：首次运行的结果+以后几次运行结果的平均数

在XP SP2/3 and Vista上分别得到的结果，将对我们很有帮助

我们将很高兴看到你们的意见和看法，关于KAV8.0在任何情况下的性能。

偶刚才试了下卡巴8.0,的确相对于7.0有很大的进步的说~!
流畅性的确比以前的好~!

卡巴8的流畅性在268的时候偶就说过是很好的了，对卡巴8的项目经理说的KAV版偶是很久没有用了，都是使用KIS，很遗憾的是到了320这样的版本竟然还没有解决报警声的问题！！！！！！！！！！！

还是等正式版的时候再PK吧，那时更具有代表性，不过这一代确实变化很大。
