FSTP Safe Web FAQ

1. Question: Why does Safe Web not have ratings for most of the links I encounter?

Ratings are currently available only for a limited set of URLs. Rating coverage is being improved, with the planned full data in the back end the coverage will be good for the majority of the users.

Q:为什么我遇到的多数链接没有Safe Web的安全评估？

A:安全评估目前只对一定的链接有效。我们正在提高其覆盖水平，最终能够使得绝大多数用户可以很好使用。

2. Question: When I visit a page with a lot of rated links, the dialog keeps popping up and blocking my view. What can I do?

You can disable the automatic pop-up, you can use the on-demand pop-up. Please refer to question 4 for more information.

Q:当我访问一个带有友好链接的网页时候，不断弹出的提示框影响到了我的正常浏览。我该做什么来避免这种状况？

A:你可以禁用自动弹出，使用手动模式。具体信息请参照问题3.

3. Question: When on a site with a lot of links, it is not clear which link caused the pop-up dialog (especially if the mouse has been moved). Can this either be highlighted on the page itself or made clearer in the dialog?

You can disable the dialog to pop up automatically and instead make the dialog to pop-up only when you press the CTRL key when the mouse is pointing to the link in question. This can be done as follows:
1. Go to Setting, Safety Rating Tab.
2. Check Show tooltips for rated links.
3. Check When I Press the CTRL key.

Q:访问一个拥有许多链接的网址时，我们很难确定引起提示框的链接（特别是在鼠标不断移动的时候）。这些链接能够自己高亮显示在页面或者提示框里能有更详细的提示么？

A:你可以禁用提示框的自动弹出模式来使得对话框只在你鼠标指向问题链接并同时按下ctrl键时出现。设置步骤如下：
1进入Setting, Safety Rating Tab.页面
2在Show tooltips for rated links.前打勾
3在Check When I Press the CTRL key.前打勾

4. Question: Why do I need to restart the computer after installation (considering this is a browser plug-in)?

Restarting the computer is needed because Safe Web uses a shared library with other F-Secure products. Safe Web requires therefore a restart in order to properly register / update itself. We are looking into this to find out a solution to make the plug-in work without having to restart the computer.

Q:为什么我需要在安装完后重启机器（考虑到这只是一个浏览器插件）？

A:重启机器是必要的，因为Safe Web与其他F-Secure产品使用共同的数据库。所以Safe Web需要一次重启来进行产品注册、升级。我们正在尝试找到某种办法使它不需要重启也能正常工作。

5. Question: The list of categories is too limited (i.e. "news" is missing). Why?

The list of categories is dynamic. An update can be made to the list from time to time based on user feedback. We may also add the possibility to suggest another category in the dialog.

Q:分类菜单的选项太少了。为什么？

A:分类菜单是动态的，会随着用户的反馈不断升级。我们正在考虑在对话框提供另额外的分类。

6. Question: Should I also categorize a safe page?

Yes, you should if you think the site is not safe or is suspicious. You can also suggest a new content category if you think the shown category does not reflect the content of the site.

Q:我是否可以对一个安全页面进行分类操作？

A:可以，如果你认为这个站点是不安全或者可疑的。同时你可以提交新的内容分类，如果你认为显示的分类没有正确反应网站内容。

7. When I perform a search on Google for some adult site, the site is rated as safe but categorized as porn, adult. Why?

The Safety (Trust) rating and content category are different. The safety rating is about how safe the site is for browsing (i.e. does it contain any malware, spyware, phishing etc.) while the content category pertains to the site’s content. A porn site will be rated as safe as long as it does not contain any malware even though the content is not safe for children.

Q:为什么当我在google上搜索一些成人网站的时候，这些网站的安全评估是安全的，但是分类确实色情、成人？

A:安全评估和内容分类是独立的。安全评估是指网站用于浏览的安全程度（比如它是否包含恶意软件、间谍程序、钓鱼程序等等），内容分类针对的是网站内容。一个没有任何恶意程序的色情网站，它的安全评估是安全，但是它的内容是不适合未成年人的。

8. Question: What happens to a user-submitted rating?

The rating will be sent back to our server to be processed by our URL Analyzed. The rating suggested will be evaluated but not necessarily taken into use.

Q:用户提交评估后会发生什么？

A:评估会被送回我们的服务器进行专门处理。提交的评估会被考虑，但不一定会被采用。

9. Question: When will there be a new release?
