comodo的含义

今天查了一下字典，发现comodo的含义有二：
1.自在地，安闲地，舒适地
2.克魔岛，地名，《玛利亚福音》中玛利亚的故乡。
我认为comodo应该是安全，自在，吉祥之意。
PS:貌似记得有人说有种动物也叫comodo, 不知缘自何处。。我想其意义应该是前者。
