根据Windows X's Shrine的消息Windows Live Messenger 8.1正式版将于1月25号推出,包含重新设计的联系人卡片,名字和状态显示更新以及自动更新和登录性能的改进,以下是原文以及更新情况:

After several weeks of live msg 8.1 testing,a interior guy told me that live messenger 8.1

will be released on Jan 25th.According to his words,the final Live Messenger 8.1 will be lauched off windows live ideas page over the whole world.

The following features and improvements are in Windows Live Messenger 8.1:

• Redesigned, smarter contact cards give you more data about and easier access to your friends
• Your display name, status and personalization roam with you to any computer
• Try PC-to-phone calling with two free calls to virtually any phone in the world*
• Better server performance
• Improvements to automatic updates
• Improved sign-in performance

No matter when Live msg8.1 will be released,I think we needn't wait too long.It will be released ,you think so?
