# Kaspersky Internet Security 2009
# Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009

On 23rd March, 2009 Kaspersky Lab announces release of Hot Fix for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2009.

Hot fix will be automatically installed when updating from the Kaspersky Lab’s servers and the following letter will be added to the version number:

    * letter "g" will be added to versions 8.0.0.357, 8.0.0.358
    * letter "e" will be added to versions 8.0.0.454, 8.0.0.457
    * letter "b" will be added to version 8.0.0.506

The current Hot fix replaces the library lic.ppl and improves detection of the Chinese localization. Before installing the hot fix, make sure the option to update application program modules is enabled in the product:

    * open the main application window
    * in the right upper corner click the Settings button
    * in the left part of the Settings window select Update
    * in the right part of the window click the Settings button
    * go to the Additional tab
    * make sure the option Update databases and application program modules is checked
    * click OK
    * wait till the hot fix is installed
    * restart your computer, if required
