NPRO with NEM

Dear beta testers,

The public beta period of Norman Endpoint Protection (NPRO) with Endpoint Manager (NEM) has come to an end. After 2,5 months of beta period and numerous feedbacks from our testers ranging from simple questions to feature requests and bugs, we are now confident that our product is ready for the marked.

Prior to the public beta period we have had Endpoint Protection software running in internal beta for over 4 months. All this period we have been working and improving the system to meet the stability and functionality criteria we have set for our final version 1 release.

We would like to use this opportunity to thank all of you for testing and sending us feedback on the Endpoint Protection system.

Many of you have made feature request that we have included on our roadmap for the upcoming versions. We can already say that in addition to smaller upgrades that will be released during the next 12 months we are planning a bigger expansion of the statistical and reporting pages in NEM.

NOTE
Those of you that are running beta versions today and that wish to continue testing NEM until the beta license keys are suspended must uninstall and set up new installations using the installers from 12.05.2009 ( http://www.norman.com/Download/B ... oad/?ws_id=nprobeta). This is required in order to uphold stability and security of the system. You can not use old backups to restore old installations so both NPRO with NEM and NPRO clients must be uninstalled and set up freshly.

New official installers will be available Monday, May 25th. Existing 5.99 corporate customers that wish to migrate to NPRO should contact their local Norman representative. All new customers are welcome to get in touch with their local Normans sales office.

The beta license keys will be suspended by the end of May 2009.
