Known Issues

Here are a list of known issues with the latest Public Beta build.We're already aware of these issues and will have them resolved priorto final release.

- Internal product debug logging is enabled by default.  As a result the product may function slightly slower than normal.
- Users may see false positive detections in Security History.  
- File Insight may exhibit a small delay before appearing.
- File Insight details may not match “Download Insight” toaster notifications.
- Download Insight toaster notifications may not appear consistently.
- Performance graph may not display information for a brief period after a system restart.
- Download speeds for downloading the beta build may be slow. We're working on correcting this.

- Full Virus Defintionswill not be updated as frequently as they will be when the product isreleased. We're making significant changes to the Virus Definition setduring the beta phase. Because of this, we will not be able to publish Full Virus Defintions as frequently we do the released products. This may cause your Security Status on the Main User Interface to read Needs Attention. Do NOT use the Intelligent Updater to download and update the Virus Definitions manually, as they will not function properly with the 2010 beta. LiveUpdatewill download the Full Virus Definitions when they are available.Streaming Definitions will continue to be downloaded during this time.

Windows 7 Users

Userstesting Windows 7 along with Norton Internet Security 2010 or NortonAntiVirus 2010 may come across some issues that were corrected withlater non-public builds of Windows 7. The issues listed below areissues that are already corrected with Windows 7 builds, or will becorrected on a future Windows 7 build:

- This program has known compatibility issues dialog may display when running the 2010 beta. The dialog will also refer to the program as Norton 360. Check the Don't show this message again box, and click on Run program.

- Norton Add-On Pack Download Manager may not install on Windows 7. If it fails, please follow the information in this document to install.
