今天早上，又下载了6mb多的数据要求系统重启，估计又有新版本了，结果去目录一看，确实有了16.7.2.11的新版本。具体更新如下！

Dear Norton Community,

We know that you all have been waiting for the Windows 7 compatibility release of NAV/NIS 2009 and Norton 360 v3. We are glad to announce that we have completed testing NAV/NIS 2009 and Norton 360 v3 on Windows 7 and we are ready to release the patch.

The version number of the new release will be 16.7.2.11 for NAV and NIS and 3.5.2.11 for Norton 360 v3.

The FAQ below tries to answer some common questions:

1.   What is the version number for this patch?

  - For Norton AntiVirus and Norton Internet Security, the version number is 16.7.2.11.
  - For Norton 360 v3, the version number is 3.5.2.11.


2.   When will I receive the patch?

As a standard practice Symantec deploys patches over an extended period to our large world-wide customer base.  Starting on Monday August 31st, we will begin releasing our latest patch to the Norton Internet Security, Norton AntiVirus and Norton 360 products and over the course of the next few days we expect to have the patch fully deployed to all connected customers through either our Automatic LiveUpdate mechanism or through manual application of our LiveUpdate functionality.  As always, please let us know if you encounter any issues with this patch and thank you again for your patience.


3.   How can I manually install or upgrade to NAV/NIS 2009.7 (16.7) or Norton 360 v3.5?

All NAV/NIS 2009 and N360 v3 customers will receive this patch. In case you want to install NAV/NIS or Norton 360 on a new Windows 7 machine, you will need to install this release. This release will be posted on the Norton Update Center. We do not have an ETA on when we will post on Norton Update Center yet. Once we have an ETA, we will be updating this post with more information.

Please note that all customers with a valid subscription will receive this update for free.


4.   What are the changes in this release?

  - Several Windows 7 compatibility fixes
  - Support for migrating Vista to Windows 7
  - Fixed issue where Windows Defender was disabled on every reboot
  - Norton Toolbar support for Firefox 3.5 in this release. IPS Add-on for Firefox 3.5 will be released later, as communicated by Athena before.
  - Fixed LiveUpdate failures caused by hosts running behind a proxy
  - Fixed top install failures seen in the field
  - Fixed patching issues seen with 16.5 patch

我的360也更新了，原来版本是3.0.0.134，更新后有重启，估计马上就有更新了。
