Big hug! Someone should definitely start a "free forever" section in this forum.

First some disclaim: I'm using English because I'm using a public computer in Uni and there's no Pinyin input.

I'm loyal to none of these antiviral programs. If they're the best, I'll use them. If they're not, I'll just dump them like rubbish without a blink. Pay for them? Big NO! Stick to free versions with slashed functions like a big loser? Another big NO! Use crack or keygen program? NO way! I don't want to cheat

My philosophy is to always use the best programs for free without violation of copyright.
I take this endless-trail & free-forever approach to a different level. First I would go to professional websites like www.av-comparatives.org or Virus Bulletin to find the antivirus with the best review.(I got both website information from this forum) Then I download the trial versions. Like you mentioned, each company usu. provides at least 2 different products. That means I can have NIS2010 and NIS360 from norton, ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 and Smart security from Eset, etc. It's a piece of cake to find at least 12 different trial versions of the best antiviral programs up to date.Each trial version gives you at least 1 month. One year flies by before you even notice it.

Then they will start to provide a newer versions for you to try again.

This way, you will ALWAYS use the best antiviral programs for free for ever. It's true that your system will look untidy with all these antiviral programs, but that's exactly what a real computer guy's system should look like any way, right?
