Hello xu,

The beta test for the Avira products Premium Security Suite and AntiVir Professional starts on November 2nd. You will then be testing the version 10 of those products which will be released in spring 2010.
Joining the betatest therefore gives you the chance to get to know the new features of those products and to test them before they are officially released. At a later point in time we will also set up a beta test for the Avira AntiVir Server (Windows).

The beta versions will be available in German and in English for 32 bit Windows desktop systems from Windows 2000 up to Windows 7.

Testing should be focused on the new proactive HIPS system (=host based intrusion prevention system), the firewall that has been newly integrated into the Avira AntiVir Professional and the configuration of those products. Please note that the HIPS system is only available in the 32 bit versions.

Please use the beta portal menu entry "report a bug" to report any problems, inconsistencies or bugs that you find in the products.
