关于IKARUS的名字，官方回复

几天前，在ray1106的帖子“怪才IKARUS”（http://bbs.kafan.cn/viewthread.php?tid=608862）里，我提到我想知道IK名字的由来
后来google一番，没有找到答案
于是我给官方写信询问，没想到今天回复了

虽然是蹩脚的英文

（如果不知道代达罗斯和伊卡洛斯这俩人，请查希腊神话）

good question

of course there is a relationship between the greek mythologie ikarus and our name

the founder of the company was looking for a name for his company and he tought about "daedalus" as name for the new company:（创始人想用“代达罗斯”作为新公司的名字）

due to the fact that "daedalus" did something completly new and left the possible dimensions of the ancient know world (earth and wather) in a revolutionary way（这句实在理解不能，应该是说用代达罗斯的功绩来体现自己公司的志向）

but "daedalus" was still claimed by a german company so his wife just decide to call it "ikarus" - does the same thing - even when failed（“代达罗斯”的商标被一家德国公司注册了，于是他妻子建议取名“伊卡洛斯”。虽然伊卡洛斯最后失败身亡，但这个名字同样能体现要表达的含义）

and as you still know: wife´s are alway right :-)
