About the Speaker
Jan Hruska graduated in Engineering and Computer Science from Downing College, Cambridge. He has a doctorate in Medical Engineering from Magdalen College, Oxford.
He co-founded Sophos in 1985 and was a Joint Chief Executive Officer of Sophos until December 2005. His responsibilities included overseeing operations (with a special interest in using computers for increasing efficiency and control of processes), recruitment, the web and IT systems. He is currently a Board member and non-executive director of Sophos.
His outside interests are Sub-aqua diving, running, flying, skiing and piano playing. |
