1. System protection
Launch Wondershare Time Freeze, the default window is System Protection which shows some general information of your system. To enable System Protection, just drag the button to “On” or click the blank area to the left of "On".
After the system protection is enabled, your computer runs the virtual system and all operations in the system partition will disappear after system reboot. If you want to save your operations, just drag the button to “Off”, and the data produced in the virtual system will be transferred to the actual system.
2. Folder protection
Wondershare Time Freeze can protect your folders from being opened or modified. Before enabling Folder Protection, you can set your preferences to protect the folder from access or being changed.
To enable Folder Protection: click the "Add" button, browse your computer for the folders which you want to protect, select the folders and click "OK" to add them to the protection list. After selecting all the folders which you want to protect, drag the button to "On" or click the blank area to the left of "On" to enable protection.
To remove folders from the protection list, just select them on the list and click the Remove button to remove the folders from the list.3. Settings
Before protecting your system or folders, you can set some preferences so as to use this program more conveniently. Just click “Settings” button to enter the Settings interface, select the options and click Apply Settings.
Click the Password button and set a password in the pop-up dialog. When you disable the protection or close this program, the program will ask you to enter the password. This can prevent inexperienced users to change your settings and configures. |
