Norton Recovery Tools have been updated! (May 5th 2010)

We've updated the Norton Recovery Tools to newer versions!



Norton Power Eraser has been updated to build 1.0.0.45.

Norton Bootable Recovery Tool Wizard has been updated to build 3.0.0.46







NORTON POWER ERASER:



Here are the instructions on downloading the latest build:



1) If you haven't already, install the latest Norton Internet Security 2011 or Norton AntiVirus 2011 Beta Build.

2) After installation, click on Start, All Programs, click on the Norton Internet Security (or Norton AntiVirus) program group, and then select Norton Recovery Tools.

3) When the webpage loads, click on Download Norton Power Eraser to download the latest build.



You can verify that you have the latest build by launching Norton Power Eraser, and clicking Help on the top right corner and selecting About. The version displayed should be 1.0.0.45.










NORTON BOOTABLE RECOVERY TOOL WIZARD:

1) Before installing the new build, be sure to uninstall the old build using the Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features in Windows 7/Windows Vista) in Control Panel, or the Uninstall shortcut in the Norton Bootable Recovery Tool Wizard program group in the Start Menu.

2) If you haven't already, install the latest Norton Internet Security 2011 or Norton AntiVirus 2011 Beta Build.

3) After installation, click on Start, All Programs, click on the Norton Internet Security (or Norton AntiVirus) program group, and then select Norton Recovery Tools.

4) When the webpage loads, click on Download Norton Bootable Recovery Tool to download the latest build.



You can verify that you have the latest build by launching Norton Bootable Recovery Tool Wizard, and clicking About on the top right corner. The version displayed should be 3.0.0.46.
