关于AVG Anti-Spyware升级困难的官方回复。大家也别猜测了。静等下一个版本。

好像官方的人都被这个问题问得烦了...根据官方的答复，升级困难并不是因为很多人推测的“反盗版”，而是由于大量的免费用户更新需求（大部分是来自中国）。因为AVG AntiSpyware一直都是无需注册付费也可以使用扫描功能和更新的，只不过更新的优先级不如付费的用户高（很多免费的安全软件都是这样的政策。）这个问题也影响了付费用户但是已经改善了。我们这些广大的免费用户还是耐心等待下一个版本吧，在这之前就使用离线升级包了。虽然说4月中会推出新版本，看起来是又跳票了...我们的用户一旦爱上了AVG Anti-Spyware，那连接估计和DDOS攻击似的^^

AVG Anti-Spyware uses Akamai for serving the files but the update request is processed at different servers first. That's exactly where the bottleneck is.
AVG 的其他产品和AVG AntiSpyware使用不同的升级机制，是完全不同的软件。所以呢...AVG的其他产品升级正常并不代表AVG AntiSpyware也能升级正常。AVG AntiSpyware使用Akamai来传输文件，但是更新的请求会先在另一个不同的服务器处理。而这就是瓶颈所在。

Didn't you read my post? We are working on it, unfortunately there is no real interim solution until we can release the new build with an improved update mechanism as millions of users with an extremely slow internet connection (mainly from China) are almost blocking our servers at the moment.

For paying customers, the situation is definitely different. They do get updates as they have paid for "Premium updates" and thus have priority on our servers. The problem is that we get millions of new free users each week and unfortuntately, the update process has reached a point where it simply doesn't scale sufficient anymore. Even adding dozens of new servers wouldn't really help to improve the situation. You can be assured that we have done everything that helps but regrettably the new build is the only solution, sorry. :(

对付费用户来说，情况是一定不同的。这些用户因为已经为“高级更新”而付费，所以能在我们的服务器拥有更高的优先级而获得更新。这个问题是由于每个星期我们都有大量新的免费用户，而不幸的是，更新进程已经达到了一个无法再容纳更多的用户的临界点。甚至再增加几十个新的服务器也不会对这个情况有什么确切的改观。可以肯定的是，我们已经做了我们能做的所有的事情，但是遗憾的是，新版本是唯一的解决方案，抱歉。:(

Sorry for the late reply and for all the inconvenience! Yes, we are working on it. The situation should have already been improved for registered users. We will also introduce a modified update mechanism in the next build which should generally reduce the load on your side and also on the update servers. This change and many other bugfixes will be included in the "Vista-Ready" build which will be available around mid of April (at least as a beta). Again, sorry for the inconvenience!
