Today German antivirus test lab AV-Test.org revealed the latest results in a series of antivirus certification tests. The current test evaluated each product's suitability for use under Windows Vista; previous tests used XP and Windows 7.
Researchers tested more than 20 products over a period of three months. They scored each product in three areas: protection against attack by malware, ability to repair an already-infected system, and the impact of the software on overall usability. In each area the product could receive up to six points. To be certified for antivirus protection under Windows Vista a product needed a combined score of 12 or higher.

F-Secure Internet Security got the highest score this time around, with 16 points. BitDefender Total Security, Kaspersky Internet Security and Norton Internet Security all came close with 15.5. Others didn't fare as well. McAfee Internet Security got 11 points and thus just missed certification. Comodo and Norman scored 9.5. CA Internet Security Suite hit bottom with 6.5 points.

The chart below shows final results from all three certification tests. Scores below the minimum for certification are highlighted in red while scores of 15 points or higher are highlighted in green.

beat out F-Secure's 15.7, but barely. Kaspersky is right up there with an average of 15.2; it didn't do as well in the XP test. McAfee and Norman missed certification all three times. BitDefender displayed the biggest difference, scoring a barely-passing 12 points under Windows XP but an impressive 15.5 in the latest test under Vista.

AV-Test.org will again evaluate products for certification under Windows 7 during the first quarter of 2011, with results appearing by the end of April. Visit the AV-Test.org Web site for full details on these tests.

我为大家翻译了一下

今天德国的杀毒软件测试实验室AV-Test.org发布了最新的系统反病毒测试.这次测试各杀毒产品用到了vista操作系统，以前的测试使用了xp和windows7操作系统.

研究人员花了3个月左右的时间测试了20多个反病毒软件,研究人员在3个系统测试了每个测试:反恶意软件能力，攻击保护能力，修复已被感染的系统和杀毒软件对系统的影响.在每个测试中最高可获得六分，如要通过AV-Test的认证，杀毒软件必须在vista系统中取的12分或更高.

F-Secure Internet Security在这次测试中获得了最高分（16分）.比特梵德（BitDefender）全面保护安全软件, 卡巴斯基安全部队和诺顿安全特警在这次测试中都达到了15.5分.迈克菲网络安全保护套装（McAfee Internet Security）只得到了11分,刚好错过了AV test的认证（12分及格）.Comodo和Norman只拿到了9.5分.CA 网络安全套装（CAInternet Security）只拿到了6.5分的最低分.

卡巴斯基在XP下对系统性能影响很大，用WIN7的基本不觉得卡巴卡，卡巴被XP下拉低了很多分数
