1 Does avast! have a self-defense-system like NOD32 which denies the deleting of important avast! processes from task-manager etc?

The antikill feature will be available on avast version 5

2 if i install avast what firewall can i use
Any. I suggest Comodo or PCTools, both free.

3Heuristic
It was discussed a lot in forums, both from users than from Alwil team. Alwil chose the generic signatures method.
4 Anti-Rootkit
It will be good.

5 Self defense or auto-protect to avoid shut down of Avast! by some viruses, because detection of your Avast! will be unused if AV will terminated and not functioning...
It's already expected to be there in the new version

6Does avast! have heuristic?
No, currently Avast Antivirus does not contain heuristic exept for mass mailers; however Avast 5.0 is expected to have heuristics. Please be aware that even though Avast does not have heuristic it still performs very well in detecting malware.

AVAST5将加入自我保护,还有就是V5有可能有启发的(PS:只是有可能,论坛上说,还在他们国家的各大论坛和ALWIL团队里讨论要不要加入启发)
ALWIL看样子很怕误报的,这一点和SYMANTEC一样,呵呵
还有ALWIL的管理员居然拒绝透露V5的启发...

ALWIL对自己现在产品还是比较满意的,考虑加不加入启发,主要还是怕误报

个人认为应该是静态启发,因为AVAST已经有行为拦截器了

AVAST现在也有基因启发，它估计是比较怕误报，其实它可以考虑象NOD32取下经^_^

avast是半路出家。。。。病毒库得重新整理。。加入静态启发之后，很多东西都可以扔了。。。
