How to install fonts (supports Chinese) in BackTrack?

Hi, everyone.
I'm now using BackTrack 4, a linux-based system.
Everything seems good, except that the system does support Chinese.
It can't display Chinese characters, and also, can't type Chinese.(Yet i found it supports Japanese display. :-(   )
I think maybe i can use Google transliteration to type Chinese, but...I have to install Chinese fonts first.
Who can tell me how?

BT can't display.... :-(

嗨，大家好。现在我正使用回溯4，基于Linux的系统。似乎一切都很好，但该系统不支持中文。它无法显示汉字，也不能输入中文。（然而，我发现它支持日文显示。:-(）我想，或许我可以使用谷歌输入中文音译，但是...我还需要安装中文字体第一。谁能告诉我怎么样？非常感谢！

hi,you should search before posting,to solve your problem quickly.

1. apt-get install language-support-zh
   
2. 
   
3. apt-get install language-pack-kde-zh language-pack-kde-zh-base language-pack-zh language-pack-zh-base

this could help you to support chinese in bt4.
then go to language setting(option?!)->other language--->chinese(simple),save and restart bt4.

My BT4 is installed in my u disk, as Live USB system.
So, i have to restart to make it works?

you could try to remove the u disk and load it again,
cos  havent installed linux in a removable device,
i hope it can work for you.

BT4 base on debian?

edit you source list
then try
sudo apt-get install ttf-wqy-zenhei
or sudo apt-get install ttf-wqy-microhei

then
sudo apt-get install fcitx
add the fcitx to your startup application

i don't know whether BackTrack 4 supports sources of the debian
if not
you can download the deb package on internet then try the command
sudo dpkg -i <packagename>.deb
if some errors alert ,type the command as follow
sudo apt-get install -f
