NOD32 for BSD File Servers, NOD32 for BSD Mail Servers, NOD32 for Linux File Servers and NOD32 for Linux Mail Servers have been updated to v2.70.5. These releases contain the following changes:

    * nod32update - Fixed issue with how nod32umc and nod32upd modules are started.
    * nod32update - Fixed issue with download timeouts.
    * nod32d - Improved how signaling is handled during downloads.
    * nod32set - Sections are now automatically created, if none exist.

The new versions may be downloaded from the Registered Software section of the web site.

ESET Smart Security Public Beta 1 is now available. This new product from ESET incorporates the next version of the NOD32 anti-malware engine with a personal firewall and anti-spam filter. The beta test version is a precursor of the final product without full functionality and documentation. It is intended for experienced users and should not be installed on computers which perform critical tasks because it may cause errors or crashes.
