我平时给MSE上报过不少样本，今天收到了微软发给我的一封电子邮件。
具体内容如下：
Hello,

My name is Hil. I am a response coordinator on the Microsoft Malware Protection Center team.

We would like to thank you for providing us samples and appreciate your efforts in helping us to optimize the protection we provide to our users.

In order to appropriately classify the nature of your submissions and prioritize the work needed for the resolution, we would appreciate if you could share some information below:

1.       How do you collect samples?
2.       What regions the samples were collected from?
3.       What are the indications that these samples may be malicious or potentially unwanted software?
4.       Are you planning to share samples on an ongoing basis?
5.       What’s the expected volume?


We appreciate your cooperation on this matter.

Answer:I download the virus samples in the forum.

Answer:I collected virus samples from the infected computer or a malicious web site.
3.What are the indications that these samples may be malicious or potentially unwanted software?
Answer:I run the virus samples in the sandbox or upload to VirusTotal.
4.Are you planning to share samples on an ongoing basis?
Answer:Yes,i will send virus samples to the forum.
5.What’s the expected volume?
Answer:Reported virus samples can reduce the computer Poisoning.

我这几天一直上传也没回信。。。。可能是刚接手MSE的缘故吧。。。。。第二个问题是问这些样本收集的地区，第五个问题怎么突然问起预期量？。。。。。。

又来了一封信，要我把样本加密后发送到电子邮箱里的邮箱中。

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Malware Protection Center (MMPC). Your cooperation in gathering and submitting undetected threat-related samples is appreciated.

Here is the email address you can use for your submissions:

feed@submit.microsoft.com

Please send the samples in password protected ZIP files. The password should be ‘infected’ (with no quotes). You will receive confirmation email for successful submission.

Note: Samples collected at MMPC are coming from a large number of sources.  Depending on the prevalence of the sample in the wild and the nature of the submission, analysis for these is appropriately prioritized.  These samples are analysed based on this priority.

Your contribution towards the MMPC sample collection is very important to our research and improving detection for our customers.  We do value the time of researchers and collectors like yourself.  And we know that efforts like yours contribute to our increasing detection rates and improved security in the field as indicated in industry testing.  We appreciate your cooperation and hope you will continue contributing samples you gather to Microsoft.
